...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and
Humboldt Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
Buffalo Creek near Burt...to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, US 169 is threatened near Saint Joseph and
may be overtopped south of Algona.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.8 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early this morning to a crest of 17.7 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Visibility less than one quarter mile in areas of dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, south
central, southwest, and west central Iowa.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Visibility will change rapidly across the region while driving.
Be prepared for pockets of dense fog and be especially cautious
around sunrise.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The fog will begin to dissipate between 7 and
8 AM CDT this morning.

Information:
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.  Be especially cautious at intersections and
railroad crossings as vehicles and trains may be hidden by the fog.
