🎒 Community Health Center of Mason City Hosting Back-to-School Block Party 🩺

The Community Health Center of Mason City is helping local families prepare for the new school year with a Back-to-School Block Party on Tuesday, July 21. 🎉📚

The event will include free healthcare services, school supplies, shoes, food, family activities and resources from several North Iowa organizations.

📆 Date: Tuesday, July 21
📍 Location: Community Health Center of Mason City, 404 N. Federal Ave.
🩺 Healthcare services: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
🎈 Outdoor parking lot party: 4–7 p.m.

🩺 Free Healthcare Services

Free services for children will include:

✅ Well-child checks
✅ Immunizations
✅ Sports physicals
✅ Dental exams

Appointments will be available from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., followed by walk-in services from 4–8 p.m.

Children with insurance may have services processed through their insurance. Healthcare services will be offered inside the building, and families are asked to enter through the front door.

👟 Free Shoes and Backpacks

👟 The United Way of North Central Iowa will distribute free pairs of shoes to children while supplies last. Children must be present to try on and receive shoes. Shoes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

🎒 The Salvation Army will give away free backpacks and school supplies to children.

🎈 Family Activities and Resources

From 4–7 p.m., families can visit local organizations offering free activities, resources and information. Activities will include an inflatable and other kid-friendly fun. 🎉

🍔 Free Meal

A free meal will also be served, featuring:

🍔 Pork burgers
🥣 Beans
🥔 Chips
💧 Water
