This week’s MBT KIOW Prep of the Week is a sophomore from Belmond-Klemme High School. Jayla Coonce had a couple of standout performances on the diamond last week for the Broncos. In a postseason win over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Coonce went 2 for 3 with a double and two runs batted in. Then later in the week against West Marshall, she again had an extra-base hit, this time a go-ahead solo home run to left field.
