The Forest City Council is taking action regarding the facilities at the Bear Creek Golf Course. According to City Administrator Tony Mikes, the clubouse there has become a project of interest.
A group interested in the improvement of the course is looking to a grant to help pay for the proposed project.
The group has approached both the Hancock and Winnebago County Boards of Supervisors for their support both financially and morally to get the grant and the project of the ground. The grant will play a signific ant role in doing so according to Mikes.
The group has won the support of both boards ands the city council.
