MBT KIOW Prep of the Week July 1 2026

This week’s MBT KIOW Co-Preps of the Week are a pair of juniors from Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School. Emma Schumacher and Reese Schleusner were electric in the middle of the Cardinals lineup last week. Over four games, Schleusner batted an incredible 9-12 with two doubles for 11 total bases. She also scored twice and drove in 4 runs. Batting right behind Schleusner, Schumacher went 7-13 on the week, with 5 extra-base hits, including a pair of home runs and triples, for 18 total bases.
