Garner Strengthens It’s Parks Department

The Garner City Council was asked to approve a new hiring recently, one that will make the Parks Department even better according to Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt.

The council approved the hiring of Lacey Brown to fill the position. Schmidt believes that Brown is a good fit.

The addition will provide some relief to the department staff who have been filling the void while the activities have been at their peak.
