Janice Buffington, 84, of Forest City, IA, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, June 5, 2026.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Schott Funeral Home in Forest City, IA.
A Service celebrating Jan’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, IA, with Pastor Zech Anderson officiating.
Burial of her cremains will be at Oakland Cemetery in Forest City.
Schott Funeral Homes in Forest City is assisting the family with arrangements.
