The Forest City Council was recently briefed on the capital improvement projects either recently completed or are in progress. According to City Administrator Daisy Huffman there is a cost involved in the numerous efforts undertaken by the city.
City officials balance out the amounts that are involved in the projects. One of the projects involved is the removal of the dam in Pammel Park according to Huffman.
Huffman then highlighted four other projects which were either completed or near that stage.
The city continues to work on the Forest City Airport having recently worked on lighting and runways, but now there is more work being done.
The council received the report update at a recent council meeting.
