Belmond-Klemme Homecoming Week is Underway 🏈🎉🏐🏃

Belmond-Klemme’s Homecoming Week is officially underway, running September 15–19 with the theme “There’s No Place Like Home.” A full week of dress-up days, athletic events, and community activities are planned leading up to Friday night’s big game.

Dress-Up Days

• Monday, Sept. 15: Pajama Day – “Make Yourself at Home”

• Tuesday, Sept. 16: Sports Team Day – “Home Run”

• Wednesday, Sept. 17: Duo/Trio Day – “Me and My Homies”

• Thursday, Sept. 18: Tourist Day – “Home Away From Home”

• Friday, Sept. 19: Spirit Day – “There’s No Place Like Home”

Student and Athletic Activities kick off today with a pep rally, spirit march, and cross country meet at West Fork. JV football will also host West Hancock. Other highlights throughout the week include a grade-level activity day and volleyball tournament on Wednesday, as well as daily games for JV and varsity teams.

Thursday, Sept. 18, is one of the biggest days of the week. Coronation practice will be held in the afternoon, followed by the Homecoming Parade beginning at 6:00 p.m. from City Park to the school. Line-up for entries begins at 5:30 p.m. Community members, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to show their school spirit by entering floats, vehicles, or creative displays. The evening also features a jersey auction, coronation, and the annual Powder Puff game.

Friday’s events include team activities in the gym, JV Smash Bros against West Delaware, and the Varsity Football matchup against Lake Mills at home.

Homecoming week wraps up with the High School Dance on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 8–10 p.m.

Belmond-Klemme students, staff, and the community are invited to join in the celebration and show their Bronco pride.
